With the literal explosion of new people on the web, with thousands more joining every day, the opportunity to tap into this emerging market is unprecedented in human history.  Simple people who are struggling to keep their jobs with the threats of layoffs or those who have already lost their jobs are turning to web-based businesses to replace and in some cases, far exceed their previous levels of income.  And it is predicted that this explosive growth will not level off for several years to come!

So where are you at with your online web presence?

New advances in technology coupled with more and more people starting to use the web to buy products and services, make it imperative that you tap into this awesome opportunity too.

Dont’ have a website yet?

There are a number of different ways to go about getting one.  If you are the adventurous/creative type, you may consider learning how to build one on your own.  However, if you are serious about your game, it is highly recommended that you go directly to someone who knows how to put them together.  Another option to get you up on the web quickly for members of the American Disc Jockey Association is that you are given a FREE website along with your membership.

That in itself is more than worth the price of a national membership for several years!  Believe me, I also own a web design company and the cheapest site I build would be the equivalent of a five year membership with the ADJA!

Already have a website but you want to step it up a notch?

There simply is no substitute for professional design services.  If you want a visually appealing website that targets your market and not your competition, I recommend shopping around for a designer that meshes well with you.  Ask to see samples of their work as well as checking references.  Just like any reputable wedding DJ will have a number of personal and professional references, a web designer that is serious about his or her craft will have plenty for you to check out.

Already have a bangin’ website, you just need to be found on the web?

There are quite a few things that you can do to help boost your search engine ranking without having to break any of the rules or the piggy bank to accomplish it.  Get your site listed on as many related sites as you can.  Start a blog about your business.  Create fan pages for your business.  Offer to write articles for other sites relating to the services you offer, often this will also include a link to your site.  I could go on and on, these are just a few ways of getting your site in front of those looking for your products and services!
