The Numark OMNI Control is a DJ control surface that has audio inputs and outputs for connecting to your sound system.  Unlike many of it’s competitors, this controller is actually housed in a rugged metal case, so it is definitely going to stand up better to the regular abuse of taking it on the road several times a week.  It also has some weight to it – weighing in at 7lbs – which helps to keep it in place for those who like to really rip it up!  (more…)

Unfortunately, for the first full review of a software package listed in the Mobile Beat 2009 Gear Guide, there isn’t a lot of information available on it.  Even going directly to the American Audio website, there is precious little information there as well.  So the first review is going to be more like an overview since I cannot find more information about it, much less know of any friends in the business that are using it.
